"MER TAN ITEV" NOMINATED FOR THE GERMAN JAZZ PRIZE 2025

The armenian-born pianist Tigran Tatevosyan has been nominated for the German Jazz Award 2025 as Newcomer:in of the Year.

With his debut album ‘Mer Tan Itev’ (‘Behind Our House’), he has emerged as an authentic storyteller with a new yet mature voice. He is influenced by both the treasures of Armenian musical tradition and the contemporary energy of modern jazz. The award ceremony will take place on June, 13 2025 at the E-Werk in Cologne.
